Chester Bowl opens for the season on Saturday, December 21st, at 11 am!
We want to thank all of you for your patience, support, and understanding as we worked through some issues with our chairlift. The lift is now fully operational and ready to go! We hope you are excited to join us over Holiday Break at Chester. We have great snow cover, the hill is groomed and ready to go, and our staff are ready to welcome you on opening day.
We are so grateful to Mont Du Lac (especially Ian Koivisto) and Spirit Mountain (especially Mark Hoffman) for the many hours that they spent working with us on the lift. It is because of them that all the problems are resolved and we can open tomorrow.
Our hours over the Holiday break are as follows:
Saturday 12/21, 11am-4:30pm
Sunday 12/22, 11am-4:30pm
Monday 12/23, 11am-4:30pm
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day- closed
Thursday 12/26-Monday 12/30, 11am-4:30pm, with lessons throughout the day (see the schedule at https://www.chesterbowl.org/lessons-and-ski-and-snowboard-camp/)
New Year’s Eve, 11am-4:30pm
New Year’s Day, 11am-4:30pm
Thursday, 1/2, 4:30pm-8:30pm, starting our standard schedule
If you have not yet purchased your season pass, you can do so any day that we are open, starting 30 minutes before opening. Please note that we do need signatures from all participants; we have paper copies here at the Chalet, but you can also download and print the paperwork in advance at https://www.chesterbowl.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019_2020-Winter-Registration-Packet.pdf. Each person needs a photo to be laminated in their pass (small school photo size is perfect) and payment is by check or cash.
We can’t wait to see you out on the hill!
