Pass Options

To use the chairlift, join lessons, or participate in programs, you need a valid day pass or season pass. Day passes cost $15 for kids 18 years old and younger or $20 for adults 19 years old and older. Important: We do NOT offer daily ski or snowboard rentals.

Day Passes

Day passes are purchased in person at the ticket window. Cash or check only. A waiver must be completed each visit.

  • $15 Child Day Pass (18 and under)
  • $20 Adult Day Pass (19 and older)
  • Minnesota 4th Grade Pass – FREE (show your pass at the window)
  • Partner Season Pass – FREE (valid season passes from Spirit Mountain, Mont Du Lac, Giants Ridge, Lutsen, Mount Ashwabay, or Mount Ski Gull are accepted)

Season Passes

Season passes give you unlimited access for the full season. They are purchased in person at the Chalet during operating hours or during equipment fitting nights. 4th Grade Passport

The Minnesota Ski Areas Association (MNSAA) and its members are excited to offer the 4th Grade Passport for the 2026/2027 season. The 4th Grade Passport offers every 4th grade student the opportunity to ski and snowboard for free in Minnesota! The goal of the program is to help introduce families to how much fun they can have together outside in the winter. Please note that if you are renting equipment from Chester Bowl for the season you must still have a Chester season pass.

Passport applications are available through the Friday before Presidents Day. Each Passport is $43.99 (plus tax), and once paid there are no additional fees for lift tickets.
