Skis, Suds, & Slices is back in person at Clyde Iron on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 6 to 9pm!
The event features pizza, beer, wine, and cider tastings, a silent auction, a raffle, and more! All money raised will directly support Chester Bowl’s scholarship program.
At Chester Bowl, we believe that every family should be able to learn to ski or snowboard and attend summer camp regardless of their family income. That’s why we offer full or partial scholarships to any family that requests one. This winter we are awarding $25,000 in winter scholarships to over 100 different families, and we awarded $32,000 in summer camp scholarships this year- that is 800 days of camp!
But we need your help!
With many families continuing to feel the financial impacts of the pandemic, inflation, and this general craziness we call life, scholarship requests continue to be higher than ever. Can you help us support our scholarship needs through Skis, Suds, & Slices? There are several ways to help.
Come to the event!: This Pizza, Wine, Cider and Beer tasting party is an absolute blast! Tickets are $25 ($10 if you also volunteer), and you purchase them through this site: https://one.bidpal.net/skissudsslices2023/ticketing(details:ticketing-summary)
There is also a limited amount of child care available on site at Clyde Iron for kids who are at least 6yrs old or in 1st grade or higher, available for $15 per child. There will be a limited amount of pizza and popcorn available, but please have kids eat dinner in advance. You MUST sign up in advance for child care, as we expect all of the spots to fill. They are sold as tickets from the link above.

At the event, you will get to taste pizza from favorite restaurants like Vitta Pizza, Pizza Luce, Papa John’s, Little Caesars, and a secret unusual surprise pizza provider, with additional food provided by the Spice and Tea Exchange, TNT exchange, Mount Royal, Super One, and more! Beverages are provided by Blacklist, Wild State Cider, Duluth Cider, Bent Paddle, Fitgers Wine Cellar, Paustis Wine Company, Ursa Minor, and Vikre. The event also allows you to see all of the great silent auction items in person. Speaking of which…
Silent Auction: You can bid on silent auction items (is it too early to say you could keep Christmas lists in mind?) either at the event OR from home through our bidding platform- and you do not need to be present to win! The auction is open for bidding from Wednesday, 11/08, through 8:30pm on Friday, 11/10. Don’t be afraid to bid high to make sure that you get what you want! Silent Auction winnings pickup- You can pick up your items at the event or at the equipment fitting nights the next week (11/13-11/16) between 6 and 9pm at the Chalet. Sorry, we do not ship prizes.
Raffle Tickets: Want to give, but you are also feeling lucky? Buy raffle tickets! Each $10 raffle ticket gives you a chance at incredible prizes. Watch for details here closer to the event, including a list of prizes. Raffle tickets must be purchased with cash or check, and can be purchased at the event or during equipment fitting nights at the Chalet. Fitting times are 5:30-9:00 on 10/25, 10/26, 10/30, 11/1, 11/2, 11/6, 11/7, 11/8, and 11/9. The raffle drawing is at 8:45pm on 11/10 at Clyde Iron during Skis, Suds, & Slices, and you do NOT need to be present to win.
Donate: Finally, you can simply make a donation. All donations are tax-deductible, and every dollar you donate will go directly towards scholarships.
