Chester Bowl’s final day of the winter season will be on our scheduled close date, Sunday, March 12.

While we are sometimes able to extend our season, we are excited about the reason we can’t this year.

As you likely know, we have had some significant chairlift issues for the last few years. Many of them have been from the electrical system, which is original to the chairlift. This offseason, we are entirely replacing that electrical system! The crew comes in to begin the work the week of March 20, but we need this next week to prep for that work.

So get some final turns in between now and Sunday, and then look forward to a winter with less disruptions next year!

Chester Bowl’s winter carnival is Saturday, March 4th, from 1-4pm. The event includes hayrides, a mini-snowmobile course, and lots of fun games and activities! The carnival is free to attend. A day or season pass is required to use the chairlift.

Chester Bowl is OPEN on Sunday, February 26th. Thank you for your patience as we resolved our chairlift issue.

The Lions Club Alpine Race is on as scheduled. Registration is from 11-12:30, with the race starting at 1:15.

During February Break Week, Monday through Friday, February 20 to 24, Chester Bowl is open daily, 11-4:30.

Please note that this means we are NOT open during evening hours any of those days.

Chester Bowl’s ski and snowboard program is opening for the season on Saturday, December 10th. We are open for skiing and snowboarding between 11am and 4:30pm. For more information on upcoming hours, please see the side bar or the ski and snowboard menu tab. See you on Saturday!
