Duluth’s friendly, affordable ski hill right in town. With 175 feet of vertical drop, a classic double chairlift, and a terrain park, it’s fun for everyone from beginners to locals.

Get ready for the 2026/2027 season! Chester is scheduled to open December 12 and we want you to hit the slopes with us.

• Need gear? Our seasonal rental program gives you skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets for the whole winter (Nov–April). Note: Renters must also hold a Chester Bowl season pass. Get registered by October 21 to ensure that you get rental gear! Check out our rental program here!
• Have your own gear? Grab a season pass for unlimited access, plus free group lessons and discounts at partner hills. Season passes aren’t sold online but you can come to any equipment fitting night or to the hill once we open to pick up your pass! Learn more about getting a season pass!
