Information from 2016 (now outdated):
Please join us for our 32nd Annual Fall Fest, Saturday, September 17th, 2016, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Our rain date is Sunday, September 18th, with the same hours.
At the event you will enjoy music, food, crafts, locally grown fresh produce, vendors, and informational booths about local programs. The annual event has grown over the years and will host over 120 vendors, a great line up of music, 8 food vendors, face painting, and other kid’s activities. In addition, Chester Bowl t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items will be sold by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club. We will have some new products this year, so you will want to get to the CBIC table early to buy our new gear!
Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester winter program scholarships for kids in need who want to participate in winter sports. Donations last year totaled about $7000 and the goal is to surpass this amount.
Our music lineup is as follows:
10:00-11:30, Greg Tiburzi
12:00-1:30, the Fish Heads
2:00-3:30, Mama’s Stolen Horses
Free Shuttle Service:
The public is highly encouraged to use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth parking lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive. Parking is very limited near the event, so walking, biking, or using the shuttles is highly recommended. There are handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park.
This annual event is sponsored by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club, the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department, Kat Country 98.9, My 95.7, and 610 A.M.
