Fall Fest

*** Update 5/1/18 for Vendors***

Vendor registration is now open for both NEW and RETURNING vendors.

Fall Fest is a one day event that brings 8,000-10,000 visitors into the park.  Please note that vendors are expected to be available both for the scheduled date of Saturday, September 15th, as well as for the rain date of Sunday, September 16th, if needed. Our event is billed as a regional craft festival; vendors are expected to be selling items that are hand-made or home-grown, not mass produced.

The application packet is found at this link.

Please complete page 1 (general registration) and page 3 (ST19 form), and return them to Chester Bowl by mail with your check to secure your spot.  Event details and vendor instructions are found on page 2, and ST19 form instructions are on page 4. Fall Fest vendor spots have traditionally filled in July.

If you would like to receive the registration packet by mail, please contact Sam at sam@chesterbowl.org or 218-724-9832.

*** Update 9/19/17***

Thank you for a great Fall Fest 2017!  We had a great day, including raising over $7,700 in gate donations to support our scholarship fund.

*** Note: The information below is from our 2017 Fall Fest. We will update this information for 2018 closer to the date of the event.***

Please join us for our 33rd Annual Fall Fest, Saturday, September 16th, 2017, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Our rain date is Sunday, September 17th, with the same hours.

At the event you will enjoy music, food, crafts, locally grown fresh produce, vendors, and informational booths about local programs. The annual event has grown over the years and will host over 130 vendors, a great line up of music, 8 food vendors, face painting, and activities for children and families.  In addition, Chester Bowl t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items will be sold by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club.  We will have some new products this year, so you will want to get to the CBIC table early to buy our new gear!

Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester winter program scholarships for kids in need who want to participate in winter sports. Donations last year totaled nearly $7500 and the goal is to surpass this amount.

Our music lineup is as follows:

10:00-11:30, Woodblind

12:00-1:30, Ingeborg von Agassiz

2:00-3:30, Mama’s Stolen Horses

Free Shuttle Service:

The public is highly encouraged to use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth parking lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive.  Parking is very limited near the event, so walking, biking, or using the shuttles is highly recommended. There are handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park.

This annual event is sponsored by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club, the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department, Kat Country 98.9, My 95.7, and 610 A.M.
