Learn how to ski and snowboard or improve your skills with us this season!
- Free group lessons are included with any Chester Bowl season pass or day pass.
- Partner pass holders (e.g., Spirit Mountain) must buy a Chester day pass to join lessons.
- Chester Bowl does not offer daily rentals. You must have your own equipment or a seasonal rental.
- Lessons are open to all ages, including adults.
Lesson Schedule
- Holiday break: December 26–30 (Levels 1 & 2 only). Registration opens mid-December.
- Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays in January, plus Saturdays January 31 and February 7.
Lesson Levels
- Level 1: Brand new – bunny hill only. Parents should assist.
- Level 2: Passed Level 1 lessons. Can ride the chairlift.
- Level 3 Skills: Passed Level 2 lessons. Advanced skiing/snowboarding.
- Level 3 Freestyle: After passing Level 3 Skills. Learning how to ride terrain park features.
Lesson Registration
- Sign-ups open one week in advance via SignUp Genius.
- The link is emailed to our newsletter subscribers and posted here.
- Sign up for 1–3 lessons at a time. Cancel or change levels by emailing delaney@chesterbowl.org
Day of Lesson
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early. Check in at the station at the bottom of the hill.
- Lessons are 45 minutes long. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you may lose your spot.
- Level 1 parents: stay to help your child on the bunny hill.
- Pick up your child at the bottom when the lesson ends.
Note: The bunny hill is closed to non-lesson participants on lesson days.
