Ski Race Info & Results

Welcome to the Chester Bowl ski race page.   The hill’s slogan is, “Everyone’s a winner at Chester Bowl,” and all skiers are recognized for their efforts.  In 2009, hundreds of children, ages 3 and up, participated in the races.  The 2010 ski race schedule is shown below.   Our 2010 sponsors include All Star Photo, The Duluth Lion’s Club, Republic Bank, The Ski Hut, The Kiwanis Club of Friendly Duluth and Edmunds Realty.  Race results can be viewed at www.chesterbowlskiraces.org.  Good luck to all racers.

Ski Race Guidelines 

1. All racers must be at the starting house when it is their turn to race. If they are not ready when their bib number comes up, they will be disqualified.

2. Racers & parents are not allowed to go to the timing room to check on times. All times will be posted outside of the chalet.

3. Any special directions for the race will be posted on the ski garage door and on the front of the chalet. Ex. one run only.

4. Any special considerations or conflicts during the race will be resolved by the race committee. Please inform them in the timing room as soon as possible.

5. Once you register in an age group for the season, you stay in that group for all future races, even if you have a birthday, and would go in the next age group.

6. All Racers must wear a helmet.

7. These races are fun, if your not having fun you may be doing something wrong.
