My son and I traveled to Duluth from Florida. We had never skied before. I was a bit apprehensive, but Alexander was ready to go! Thom quickly fitted us with skis, and then it was off to the hill. We practiced a few times at the bottom. To my amazement, I was at the top of the hill 20 minutes later, with Thom at my side, coaching me the whole way down. I never expected to learn to ski in my 40′s, and I couldn’t have done it without Thom’s patience. My son, of course, picked it up very quickly and spent the next three days skiing.
Thank you Thom for your guidance. Chester Bowl is truly a gem. It is affordable, and has given my 13 year old memories of a lifetime! We can’t wait to come back another winter
