At the December meeting of the Chester Bowl Improvement Club’s Board of Directors, Michael Cameron was appointed Director to fill an interim vacancy on the Board through April 2012. Michael is general manager of Mont du Lac Recreation and comes with a tremendous amount of ski hill experience. While not a traditional member of the Chester Bowl community, he has been a strong supporter of our ski program. Mont du Lac Recreation provides a complimentary one-day ski pass for everyone with a Chester Bowl season pass, and they also generously provided a number of items for our Silent Auction in the fall.
The January CBIC Board meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in the chalet on Monday, January 3rd at 6.30pm. Anyone sharing our interest in developing sustainable quality programs at Chester Bowl should consider attending.
As you plan your year-end giving, don’t forget about Chester Bowl. Your tax-deductible donation helps:
To give simply hit the Donate button in the left hand column of this page. Thank you for your financial support; it will keep the great programs used by you, and so many others, accessible and strong.
The ski hill at Chester Bowl should be in great shape for an early opening this year. Come start the season on Saturday, December 11, at 11 am!
These photos were taken on December 1st. We’re continuing to make snow and get a good base. See you on the hill! If you’re new to Chester Bowl, we’d love to see you on the hill too. Here’s a link to an overview of the program, and you can contact us with any questions. There are still ski passes and equipment available.
