2023 Fall Fest Visitor Information

*** UPDATE- 9/16

Thank you so much for coming out to Fall Fest! It was delightful spending the day with all of you out in the Park, seeing old friends and making new ones. The music, the food, all of the vendor booths- it was incredible! We are incredibly grateful to the over 100 volunteers that helped out to make Fall Fest happen- thank you so much!

Finally, we are overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who attended and donated at the gate. All donations directly support the Chester Bowl scholarship fund, ensuring that any child or family can ski, snowboard, or come to summer camp regardless of their income or ability to pay. We raised $10,622.92!  Thank you so much!

END UPDATE***

Fall Fest is on Saturday, September 16th from 9:30-4:30, with a rain date of Sunday, September 17.

If you are a potential vendor looking for registration information, click this link.

Fall Fest is all about building community with friends and neighbors in the park! At this regional craft event you will enjoy music, food, crafts, locally grown fresh produce, vendors, and informational booths about local programs. The annual event has grown over the years and will host over 130 vendors selling locally made crafts, a great line up of music, 10 food vendors, and activities for children and families.  In addition, Chester Bowl branded clothing and other items will be sold by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club.  We will have many new products again for 2023, so you will want to get to the Chester Bowl table (just inside the entrance) early to buy our new gear!

Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester winter program scholarships for kids in need who want to participate in winter sports. We average $9,000 in donations- thank you so much for your support! Every dollar directly supports scholarships, ensuring that every family can participate in our programs regardless of income!

There will be live music all day on our stage!

10:00-11:30, Austin Castle with Cole Mikel

12:00-1:30, Matt Hannah

2:00-3:30, CC Group

Free Shuttle Service: All visitors are highly encouraged to use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth parking lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive.  Parking is very limited near the event, so walking, biking (bike racks near the entrance), or using the shuttles is highly recommended. There are a limited number of handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park. PLEASE do not try to drive and park in the neighborhoods nearby- the shuttle will be faster and more convenient, we promise!

The event requires over 100 volunteers through the day- will you help us by being part of the event? Fall Fest hours do count towards your winter volunteer commitment. Sign up at this link!
